?:scopeNote	The second sub-type of so-called 'Spatheia' African amphorae refers to a group of small sized amphorae with a long narrow body and long tapering spike (Bonifay, 2004). The neck is shorter than that of Spatheion 1 and the rim is squarer in section with a hanging lip. Two short handles are applied to the neck. (en)
