?:scopeNote	This type has two variants. Lyon 2A is more similar to the eastern Mediterranean Koan version with arched bifid handles, a high shoulder, broad ovoid body and short hollow spike. Lyon 2B is modelled more on the Italian version of the Koan form, the Dressel 2-4, with a carinated shoulder, cylindrical body and stumpy solid or sometimes hollow spike (Desbat, 2003). However, the handles are mostly pseudo-bifid rather than true bifid (Desbat 2003). (en)
