  • This type has a bell-shaped mouth with a rim which has a concave outer face, that is sometimes similar to those of the Dressel 7-9; it also has a cylindrical neck which is generally smaller than those of the Dressel 7 or Dressel 8 necks and the same size as thst of the Dressel 9. It has flattened handles, straight or lightly curved, sometimes elbowed; an ovoid body which has a short hollow spike ending in a flat or sharp bottom (Beltran Lloris, 1970; Peacock & Williams, 1986). Garcia Vargas (1998) has identified four subtypes of this form. (en)
