?:scopeNote
  • This is a small amphora, distinguished by its bottom-heavy appearance. The neck is broad, with the curved handles attached at the rim and the base of the neck. The body expands outwards in a pear shape and the base is a substantial, hollow, triangular spike. See also a smaller version at Augst called Petite Lusitanienne (Martin-Kilcher, 1994). (en)
