The top half of this form is illustrated by an example from Augst (Martin-Kilcher, 1994: 411). It has a thickened everted rim, a long cylindrical neck and the handles are ovoid in section. The body and base/foot are subject to speculation but are suggested to be similar to the Spanish fish-sauce amphora Dressel 12, which has a cylindrical body tapering to a solid spike (Martin-Kilcher, 1994).
