?:scopeNote
  • A narrow neck with jutting triangular-shaped rim attached to which are two broad handles sharply bent round and with a single or many narrow grooves. There are two variants, one with less capacity with a low shoulder; and another with a high shoulder and fuller body. Both of them had piriform bodies and short spikes. Dias Diogo classified the type as Lusitana 4 and drew a clear distinction between this general type and the later smaller one which he classified as Lusitana 10 (1991). (en)
