?:scopeNote
  • This is a fairly large cylindrical amphora. The rim is gently everted with an 'S' section reminiscent of the typical rim treatment of Tripolitanian amphorae. The neck is tall and cylindrical, and the ear shaped handles are very pronounced. The body is broad, the lower section gently widened and terminates in a heavy, solid spike. There are no known stamps. (en)
