Now in two pieces. Cleft socket of circular section, relatively short in comparison with the length of the blade. Cavity extends along most of socket with short length of shold shank beyond. Blade widens in convex curves; broadest close to the shank, with long parallel sides before tapering to rounded point. Sword-like in shape and lentoid in section. Midway along the blade on one side is an indentation which could be from wear, or may be a fault in manufacture. Light sand accretion. Wood remains in socket and one one side ofteh blade near to an angle iron, which is accreted to the spearhead. Grain runs along length of blade.
