Oval buckle loop, now broken in one place and missing tongue. Three copper alloy clamps under the same SF Number could either be from the belt or from an organic vessel. As some of them appear to be corroded to small pieces of ?wood, the latter is more likely. X-ray not seen as not in York. I.11
-
Part of an iron ring of circular section, for which approximately two-thirds of the object survives. It is near-circular in form, with a slightly uneven width to the edges in part, widening a little to one side. It has fractured on the opposite side.
-
Two copper alloy clips, formed from rectangular strips with flat back lines and sides, and with the tips bent over so as to be parallel with the back. Rectangular in section, cut from sheet metal. One clip is complete and now in two pieces, the other is near-complete but lacks one tip.
