Remains of two further copper-alloy washers associated with boss. D 160mm, H 80mm. Part of a set of shield fittings from grave 127 comprising group 3 boss with strap grip. Iron shield grip. Flat strap grip expanding slightly from centre (W 23mm) towards ends ( W 28mm, 30mm). Original pair of rivets represented by a truncated iron shank at each end, plus an impression left by a flat copper alloy disc-head (D 20mm). L 125mm. Part of a set of shield fittings from grave 127 comprising group 3 boss with strap grip.
