  • Fourteen small iron nails, recovered from a sample, possibly taken from the assumed area of the stomach of the deceased. The nails are all relatively small, with tapering shafts of square section, 9 - 1mm in length, and heads that protrude slightly from the shafts, with lightly domed apices. They are very similar to iron nails recovered from wooden boxes. The two double cleats in this grave (SFs 901and 904) could possibly also be associated with a box.
