Iron shield boss. Small un-carinated boss with convex cone, straight wall (H 18mm), narrow flange (W 14mm) bearing two small knob-headed rivets with broken shanks and small knob-headed apex (D 5mm) and stem (H 8mm). D 130mm, H 70mm. Part of a set of shield fittings from grave 19 comprising group 6 boss with narrow strap grip and lozenge-shaped studs.

Iron shield grip. Narrow flat straight-sided strap grip adhering to underside of shield boss. One end missing. Survives in two fragments (L 95mm, 45mm). W 20mm. Part of a set of shield fittings from grave 19 comprising group 6 boss with narrow strap grip and lozenge-shaped studs.

Iron shield studs. Three flat lozenge-shaped rivets (D 16mm, 17mm, 20mm), two with small washers attached at ends of shanks (D 7mm, 8mm). Large size relative to flange suggests probably board studs rather than boss rivets. Part of a set of shield fittings from grave 19 comprising group 6 boss with narrow strap grip and lozenge-shaped studs.
