  • A complete knife, lying underneath the sword in this grave, at a slight angle to the blade. Heavily accreted in sand. The tang has a rounded end and widens to a distinct shoulder and a rounded choil. The back is curved throughout. The cutting edge is slightly sinuous, curving up to the tip. There is a lateral handle line in front of the shoulder.
  • A near-complete iron knife, for which the tip of the blade and the end of the tang are missing. A narrow tang, widening to a noticeably broad blade with a distinct shoulder. There is a line of the edge of the handle in front of the shoulder. Straight back, curving at the front to the point; tip missing. Sinuous and worn cutting edge, rising to point. Heavily accreted in sand throughout, no organic remains visible. Located under the sword in the grave, with the tip of the blade pointing towards the pommel, and at an angle to the sword blade.
  • A small iron rivet, associated with the iron knife from this grave, SF 1235. The head is domed and the shaft is circular in section. The other end includes a sliver of iron, possibly from the tang of the knife.
