?:scopeNote
  • This amphora seems to be a precursor of the amphora Keay type 8A (Bonifay, 2004). It is characterised by a flanged rim with squared section directly prolonging the tall and cylindrical neck. The latter present a finger impression on his internal face at the upper attachment of the handles, which have a small triangular profile and an elliptical section. The body is perfectly cylindrical, gently rounded at he base, terminating in a filled, cylindrical spike with a flat bottom. (en)
