  • A complete iron knife with a narrow tang which has a rounded end. The tang widens to a rounded shoulder. The back is straight with the front curving to a point. The cutting edge is sinuous and worn. The line of the edge of the handle is visible at the shoulder. Slight traces of horn on the tang. Accreted brown sand on the blade and tang.
  • An incomplete brooch with a plain, curving bow of circular section, flattened on the underside, leading to a fragmentary catchplate. The upper part of the bow is cast with an integral spring casing, decorated by lateral ridges, with concave surfaces between them. The spring survives on one side of the brooch. Beyond the bow, the upper part curves back to provide a loop to seat a transverse bar of circular section, stemming from the spring.
