  • A box fitting, consisting of a circular iron ring with closed looped staples to either side, which are practically touching at the centre. The closed loops lead to tapering shafts of square section, the lower parts of which are bent over perpendicular to the upper section. The tip of one has been bent again, back on itself. Either side of the loops, set transversely, are open loop fittings with shafts of square section. Both could be fragmentary. Wood remains survive on both.
  • A small corner bracket for a wooden box, made from a thin, rectangular sheet of iron, bent over at one end, where it has fractured. Pierced close to the other end by a small iron nail, which has wood remains adhering to it.
