  • A complete iron knife with a rounded end to the tang, which is covered in horn on both sides. The tang widens to a distinct shoulder. Straight back curving over front part to tip, slightly sinuous cutting edge rising to meet tip. Clear lateral line of end of handle at shoulder. Textile remains on one side, light sand accretion on other.
  • A near-complete iron ring of oval, near-circular section, similar to SF 2150 Object 7. Undecorated, with traces of the loop of an object formerly attached to it also present. Block of sand remains on one side. Identified as Object 13 on packaging.
  • A rectangular fragment of wood, curved in section, with the grain running along its length. Black in colour and noticeably thin, ca. 1mm in thickness. Identified as Object 8 in packaging.
  • A section of copper alloy sheet, which has been rolled into a near-circular cylinder, with the seam just visible on one side. Undecorated. Hollow, with no obvious remains surviving within it. Listed as Object 2 on packaging.
  • A small fragment of an iron ring, almost certainly part of the same ring as 2150 Object 7, with a near-circular section, undecorated. Light sand and bone incrustation.
  • A small fragment of iron, quite indistinct but possibly part of a nail, conceivably part of Object 9. Found together with sand and small fragments of stone. Identified as Object 5 on packaging.
  • A small fragment of wood, together with sand and a black powdery material, that may also be wood but could possibly be mineralised leather. Rectangular in shape and fragmentary, original function unclear. Identified as Object 11 on packaging.
  • A small ovall fragment of wood, slightly green in colour, presumably from proximity to a copper alloy object. Identified as Object 12 in packaging.
  • A worned but legible Roman coin, near circular in shape and more worn and illegible on the reverse. Slightly nicked along one part of the edge. Identified as Object 10 on packaging.
  • An incomplete iron ring, of which approximately half now survives. Oval, near-circular section, undecorated. Accreted bone on the upper surface, resting on a large sand block. Identified as Object 7 on packaging.
  • An incomplete nail, now lacking its head. Square in section and tapering to a blunt point. Wood and bone accreted to the shaft. Identified as Object 9 on packaging.
